The Burner Cap is an OEM part for Bosch gas cooktops. This small black burner cap safely contains the flame underneath to concentrate heat efficiently for precise cooktop control. Reliable burner caps are crucial for safety, performance, and aesthetics.

Causes of a bad burner cap can include warping or cracking from continuous exposure to high heat over the long run, as well as surface scratching or punctures.

Symptoms of a faulty cap include:

  • Flames escaping beyond cap and licking up sides of cookware
  • Visible damage or deterioration on cap surfaces
  • Inability to adjust flame height as intended
  • Burners no longer heating or shutting off properly

This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.
