Jt for Model Number Bosch Dishwasher SHE68M05UC/50

On my Bosch dishwasher (model SHE68M05UC/50) the pump runs constantly and none of the display lights are on. There is no water in the base of the dishwasher. This condition happened suddenly one evening and have not changed over the past few days. The reset sequence (pressing 3 buttons) does nothing. When I access the float and manually move it up and down, I can hear the switch click but the pump motor continues unchanged. Any sense when might be defective?

1 Answer

Jt, The pump constantly running would be caused by a faulty control unit. The relay that controls the pump is most likely stuck and the control unit will need to be replaced.

Steve for Model Number SHE65P05UC/58

My dishwasher won't start. I have lights on the top control where I can change cycles and choose options but I do not have display on the front control. When I select a cycle and close the door I hear a momentary sound from below like a pump starting for about a half a second and that is it. I believe it to be a control issue but do not know if it is the control under the buttons on top or the control that has the display in front Thanks Steve
