For Bosch Dishwasher Central Control Unit (Part Number: OEM17074125)

Doug for Model Number SHS5AV55UC/22

My dishwasher the other day made 3 distinct popping noises(electrical) when it was not in use. When going to investigate the machine does not turn on. It does not have any working lights, noises, nothing. I checked the breaker panel and nothing had tripped. I pulled the machine out today and it has power to the unit itself. I checked the terminals where the house service connects and its fine. However, nothing on the machine works. Any ideas? I pulled the door off and nothing inside appears burnt.

Doug,
This unit has the main controller connected to the base on the bottom right-hand side towards the back of the unit. I would start there and peek around in the base to make sure all the wires are still connected. The main control can be taken off and looked at, take pics to remember wire locations.

Mike for Model Number SHX4ATF5UC/21

I have a Bosch Ascenta Mod # SHX4ATF5UC/21 and it keeps throwing an e25 error. I replaced the pump, cleaned all the lines and made sure there are absolutely no blockages. The unit runs for a good while, sometimes almost a full cycle, sometimes not, so I know there is voltage to the pump. I can also get the pump to eject water during a "Reset". Should there be voltage with the E25 code present? Is there anything else I can check to determine if it is a controller/ processor? I see there are two control units, so is there a main board that could be malfunctioning? Thanks

Mike,

You will want to check the filters in the unit to ensure that they are not clogged up and check in the opening of where the screen is and make sure that there is nothing clogged in there. The pump should have voltage until the E25 error pops up.

Michael,

With unit giving this drain error you will want to check to make sure that when the unit is in drain and see if there is 120 vac getting to the drain pump. If there is not proper voltage then the control unit will be the issue.
