Dan Kline March 27, 2014 for Model Number Wfmc1001uc/13 Can you tell me the part number for the door latch for this machine? Can you tell me if you think it is what needs to be replaced to resolve my problem which is described below? I saw somewhere online that these lights mean the door latch is bad. My machine just flashes finished/spin/wash lights and nothing happens. I tried unplugging then plugging in then holding down the rinse and delay button with one hand and turning the dial to cold/warm with the other and didn't get any results. I tried this a few times. I recently changed the boot gasket and it seems too coincidental for this to happen the next day. When I changed the boot gasket I had to take off the counter weights on the front of the machine. Could I have screwed something up when I changed out the boot gasket? What do these flashing lights mean? Thank you
1 Answer Dan, You will want to make sure that when you put the unit back together that all the wires are connected properly and that there are no pinched wires. If this checks ok then most likely would be the latch assembly which is part number 00644307. Read More...
