Jeffrey Toth September 04, 2017 for Model Number TMH30B This cooktop has two 8" 6-turn 240V 2100W elements (OEM#00484791) and two 6" 5-turn 240V 1500W elements (OEM#00487041). We've had the center hub fall out of one of each. It doesn't appear to affect the operation any but doesn't look good. The 8" elements are still available. The 6" are not. Bosch manufacturers two others elements, 8" 5-turn 240V 2100W (OEM#00484783) and 6" 4-turn 240V 1500W (OEM#00484782). Both are still available, have the same power ratings, and appear to use the same spade shaped plugs. Questions: 1) Does the number of turns to the coils matter? 2) Does the loss of the center hub mean anything? 3) Can either of the secondary elements substitute for the originals? Thanks
1 Answer Hello The manufacturer recommends 00487041 as a satisfactory replacement part for the 6" element. We do not show this part as being discontinued, only out of stock at the moment.
