The Sump to Water Inlet Hose is an OEM replacement part for Bosch dishwashers. It efficiently transports water from the internal sump to the dishwasher's inlet valve during wash cycles. The flex hose comes with 2 o-rings. Approximate size: 19 5/8 inch.

Symptoms of a faulty sump hose include:

  • Incomplete or ineffective washing from insufficient water transfer
  • Hoses detaching from connections allow water to spill
  • Reduced water pressure signs like slower fills or weak sprays
  • Leakage where the hose connects to other components

Over many uses, mineral deposits can build inside the hose restricting flow. Physical damage like cracks or kinks also inhibits proper drainage. Replace your hose with this genuine Bosch part to restore maximal washing capacity.

Compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models utilizing the same hose dimensions, this OEM hose ensures washing needs are consistently met.

Hello Marty, The odor is a by-product of a bacterial action. You should run a sanitation cycle each time you smell the odor to keep the dishwasher safe for use. A sanitation cycle basically consists of hot water and an agent used to kill bacteria. There are several types of agents you can use. It really doesn't matter which one you use. What matters most is the use of hot water. The minerals in you water supply can contribute to the odor situation, just as much as a water purification system can. City water normally has a certain content of chlorine which kills the bacteria, but if the unit sits without being used much, the water in the sump area of the unit will "stagnate" given time. It only takes 24 hours to start developing an odor. Here's a couple of the cleaners: Affresh Dishwasher Cleaner AP5176437 Dishwasher Magic AP4308827 You can use plain WHITE Vinegar if you want. It kills the bacteria, but does no deodorizing. The sanitation cycle is a follows: Run the hot water in the sink to heat up the plumbing as you want the water as hot in the unit as possible. Start the unit on a normal wash with the high temp. option chosen, (if applicable). As soon as you hear the "hissing" noise which is the water coming into the unit, open the door and pour in the sanitizer/deodorizer solution you have chosen to use. Close the door and allow the unit to complete the entire cycle. Heated dry can be turned off if the option can be turned off. If the odor is still present, repeat the process.
