The Insert is an OEM replacement part for Bosch dishwashers. The insert provides spacing for utensils and smaller dishes during wash cycles.

Causes of a bad insert can include cracks developing from repeated loading/unloading of racks over time. Warping of the part affecting planned spacing could also occur.  

Symptoms of a bad insert include:
