1 Answer Hello Tim, The door lock is comprised of two parts. The door lock assembly 10006917 is mounted in the center of the top of the tub assembly. It sometimes has to be accessed by pulling the dishwasher from its' installation about 4 inches. The other part is the door latch 00611312. Lisa December 18, 2014 for Model Number SHX4AP05UC/05 My dishwasher the latch broke and it will no longer turn on when I shut the door I have been strapping it tight but it still will not start. Does the latch have something in it that makes it start? Thank you so much :)
