Craig April 21, 2018 for Model Number Wfm3011uc/06 Have a Bosch nexxt 500 series washer. My door is locked with the door open. Tried to unlock manually but no luck. I need to replace but can't get it out. Could you please help with instuctions on how to get it out. I think I am missing something. Thank you I really appreciate any help you could give me.

Corinne January 25, 2018 for Model Number wfmc8400uc15781323 Our Bosch washer is a 800 Nexxt series and the door latch got stuck and i had to use a small flat head screwdriver to push open the white button. Now when i try to wash the display panel says ready and then it reads "Check Door" or open door. I opened the top first and tried to reach the locking mechanism but couldn't. So i opened the back panel and still couldn't reach the door opening device, that is when i used the screwdriver. My Question is: What is the step by step process in changing out this lock for this model?? Thank you for your time, Corinne

Diane June 20, 2017 for Model Number WFMC5801UC/15 The washer seal was changed. The washer was working fine, then I wasn't able to open the door. We had to use the manual leaver to open the door. Next the cycle would finish and the display screen would go back to the original amount of time for the cycle instead of zero and beep to open the door. Now the washer will not work at all. Once the dial is set and I press the start button, the machine beeps three times and will not wash. The door will not open either. Could this be the door latch?

1 Answer Hello Lorenzo. You could have a bad water valve, door lock, motor, or board on the unit. You will need to check them all and see if they are good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. 1 Answer Hello Donnie. Disconnect the power to the unit. Open the door and remove the front seal spring. Pull the seal back to access the door lock assembly 00497255. Remove fascia panel 00660718 by removing (4) screws (and plastic screw caps). Carefully lay fascia panel out of the way (on top panel). Using a thin tool (e.g. awl or drill bit), push latch on circular drain pump access cover (through small hole in cover), then rotate cover (cw) clockwise to remove it. Disconnect green door lock manual release cable from drain pump (so door lock can be removed). Remove (2) screws holding door lock to front panel. Gently pry out white plastic front shield until it pops off front panel, then slide lock to left until black plastic lock rails clear notch infront frame. Disconnect (3) wire harness connectors from door lock. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
