This control panel is the front console cover for the appliance, providing the button/selector surface and protecting the user interface assembly. Replace a cracked or loose fascia to restore proper button alignment and a clean, finished look. What it does:

  • Forms the front control console and supports the user interface components
  • Provides the button/selector surfaces for cycle and option selection
  • Helps shield internal controls from incidental contact and debris
  • Common signs of failure: cracked plastic, broken mounting tabs, loose or missing panel, difficulty pressing buttons, cosmetic damage
What's included:
  • 1 fascia/control panel
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power before servicing
  • Remove retaining screws/clips for the control console, then lift off the old fascia
  • Transfer the user interface module and any brackets to the new panel
  • Reassemble carefully; avoid stressing wiring and plastic tabs

Ron, " Fascia panels and outer doors are both removed by removing inner door screws. For most dishwashers, the top four (4) screws hold the fascia panel. Tools needed: T-20 Torx screwdriver. 1. Remove fascia panel by removing six (6) long fascia panel screws from top of inner door (below left). If needed, remove outer door first . 2. Lift fascia panel out from door. Be careful to not damage wire harnesses. The long six (6) fascia screws are different than the short six (6) outer door screws, so don’t mix screws when removing both fascia panel and outer door." Once you remove the fascia panel, you can dismount the button arrays and handle tray.
