A replacement temperature sensor (thermistor) that monitors internal temperatures and sends readings to the appliance control board. Restores accurate temperature sensing to help cycles and temperature regulation run correctly. What it does:

  • Measures internal temperature and relays readings to the control board so the appliance can adjust heating/cooling cycles.
  • Helps ensure proper defrost or cycle timing by providing accurate temperature feedback.
  • Common symptoms of a failing sensor: inconsistent temperatures, frequent or short cycling, or temperature-related performance issues.
  • Works as a direct replacement for a worn or failed sensor to restore normal temperature monitoring.
What's included: One temperature sensor (part number 00425301). Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair to avoid shock or damage.
  • Handle the sensor and wiring gently; avoid kinking or pulling the lead and ensure the connector seats fully.
  • Installation typically requires access behind panels or inside the compartment—keep fasteners organized and follow the service manual.

Questions & Answers

For Bosch Temperature Sensor (Thermistor) (Part Number: OEM11333637)

Geoff

Thanks for this reply "Geoff, The F33 could be a sensor issue but is a runaway temperature that is causing this. If the unit is only doing this on bake then the sensor would be fine. In this case, it would be a relay on the control board that is welded closed and would need to replace the board." My reply: So if the runaway temperature is causing the F33 error on bake mode, then changing the sensor should fix the error? If it's happening on all cooking modes, then it's the control board? I would greatly appreciate a clarification. Sorry for so many replies. Thank you!

Geoff, if this failure is only occurring on the bake cycle, and the element is not grounded out, the failure would be in the main control. If it is occurring on all cooking cycles to include broil, then it would likely be the sensor.

Geoff for Model Number Thermador SEC302BP/01 / Bosch #00425301

Thanks for the reply. Just want to make sure the F33 error means temperature sensor issue. This is for my Thermador double oven (top only) model SEC302BP/01. I want to make sure this is the correct part Bosch #00425301. Let me describe the problem. I heat oven and then it turns off after it gets too hot with F33 error. So I think the sensor is working since it doesn't regulate the temperature. The oven turns off because it gets too hot - there must be some other sensor to protect the oven if it gets > 550-600. Thanks, Geoff

Geoff for Model Number 00425301 - Thermador Temperature Sensor.

I can't believe how hard it is to get someone to diagnose. I'm getting an F33 error for my Thermador double oven (top only) model SEC302BP/01. I want to make sure this is the correct part Bosch #00425301. One story on your website said the guy had to remove the oven from the wall. On YouTube and other websites, it says I only need to unscrew the bracket, pull the wire through carefully to get to the connector, disconnect, reconnect new problem and remount. Should it be that simple? Thank you for you time. Regards, Geoff

Geoff,

Yes, this would be the sensor for your unit and in most cases you can just unscrew the sensor and pull it out without removing the unit. You will want to make sure that the wire does not fall back into the wall.
