Don Easton January 05, 2019 for Model Number MDF520PADW I'm trying to find and additional silverware basket that will fit in the bottom rack of my Whirlpool dishwasher. The only dimension I'm concerned with is the width of the basket so it will fit within the tines of the lower rack. The Bosch AP2838747 appears to be within the 3.5 inch width that is the maximum that will fit where I want in the lower rack. Could you please tell me if I am correct that this is within the 3.5 inch width? I realize this is not made for my dishwasher as I am only looking to add a little additional silverware space since my existing basket is quite narrow. One other concern is the fact that this is made for a Bosch that doesn't use a lower heating coil likr other dishwashers. Will this basket also withstand the heat from a Whirlpool lower heat element dry cycle. I was looking for an inexpensive basket since this is just an additional basket but if you have another, better recommendation that will fit within the 3.5 space please let me know. Angy July 27, 2017 I can't read my model # as it is 15 years old and most of the numbers are washed off. I need to replace my basket as the bottom has big holes that the silverware falls through. It measures 9.5"x 5 3/8". The basket listed above with Part # AP2823824 looks about right , but I can't find a spec on the size, only reference to matching it to the model # which I don't have...Can you give me the measurement on it, or lead me to a basket that matches the measurements I gave above ?
