Phil G December 12, 2012 for Model Number 790.964240A (Kenmore Range) Last night my oven started beeping and displayed an F10 error code. I have a Kenmore electric range 790.964240A. From previous answers, it looks like the EOC is what I need to change. Is that correct? Is this difficult to do? Is there a video showing how its done? If it doesn't solve my problem, am I able to return the parts? Phil
1 Answer Hello Phil, You will need to check resistance on your Oven temperature sensor. The F10 error is a runaway temp. You would do an ohm reading on the sensor and should read 1100 ohms at room temp. If outside this then replace the sensor. If the oven continue to do the same then you would replace the EOC. The EOC is replaceable by consumers. Read More...
