Jason June 04, 2012 for Model Number KEM308SSS02 I brought this part # 318010700 to fix error code F6E0 but I'm still getting the error code, what should I do?
1 Answer Hello Jason. 318010700 is a control board for Frigidaire, not Kitchenaid model like you provided. That is the wrong control. Here is what the manufacture says about the error code you provided. 1. Disconnect power or unplug oven. 2. Check lower cavity sensor connection. 3. Measure sensor resistance (1080 O at 70° F [21° C]. Add 2 O per degree F). 4. If resistance is not valid replace sensor. 5. If sensor resistance and connections are good, then check for welded-closed relays on the control. If relay shorted, replace control. Read More...
Byrd April 09, 2012 for Model Number GLEB27S7ASA Everything on the oven seems to be working fine with the exception of the bottom element. I have checked the continuity of the element and that is fine. What would you suggest?
1 Answer Hello Byrd, I would suggest to go to the control board to the terminal that sends voltage to the bake element and make sure it's passing voltage. It really sounds like a relay failure on the board 318010700. Read More...
Jack April 05, 2012 for Model Number FEB786CESG I checked power to control it was good. I have no light on the clock and none of the controls work. The inside oven light comes on when I open the door. I think the problem is the clock timer. Could it be panel control?
1 Answer Hello Jack, I recommend to check the thermal fuse 318004900 before you do anything else. It looks just like a thermostat but has a red reset button in the middle of it. If you mash and wiggle on the reset button and it clicks, you problem is solved without any parts. Here's a link to view the part. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/Appliance-Parts/frigidaire-switch--thermal-item-number-ap2126993.aspx . If this isn't the case, the fact you have power into the board and nothing out, I would replace the board 318010700. Read More...

Roger. February 14, 2012 for Model Number PLEB30S9DCA When I turn on the wall oven neither burner will come on. Can you please tell me if I need to replace the burner, switch, or the control panel. How do I know which item needs replacing?
1 Answer Roger, The first palce to start are the breakers in the panel, and make sure you have 240 VAC to the oven terminal block. Then check and make sure the safety thermostat did not open, due to a heating situation 318003606 . Heres some meter usage information if you need it [http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html] Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
