John August 18, 2015 for Model Number FGF355AUD Noticed when I got home the clock and entire board does not respond to anything. Completely dark. Clock was on and working when I left. Burners light Ok and oven light works. Do these boards fail so unexpectedly like this?
1 Answer Hello John. They can short out. You will need to test for power to the board. If it is there, and the board is dead, replace the board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Kathy April 28, 2014 for Model Number FGF350MXASA My Frigidaire oven has made electronic chirpingnoises a few times and the oven randomly stops heating and the digital screen goes black. It is an intermittent problem. I am assuming it is the clock timer control panel. Should I be looking at anything else? I unplugged the gas oven then plugged it back in and about a 1/2 an hour later the clock was flashing.

Linda January 27, 2014 for Model Number FGF355ASD The oven will not hold a constant temperature. The pre-heat will shut off prior to the proper temperature. We have changed the thermostat piece inside the oven but it still will not hold the temperature. Do we need to change the whole panel that includes the clock and timer since they work fine.
1 Answer Linda, You will want to check the wiring from the oven sensor to the control board to ensure that there is no issue with the wiring. If that checks ok you will also want to check the oven safety valve coils. Make sure that they have to proper resistance. Don February 11, 2012 for Model Number fgf355auh frigidaire range i hit the clean oven button by accident and now no other functions will worki tried clear all and even cut off the power twice to reset it and all i get is door locked light blinking if i let the oven door actually lock then i get an F9 code and the beeper beeps if i leave the door ajar this doesn't happen what can i do to fix this? thanx don
1 Answer Don, Try this, Program the clean cycle and allow the control to operate for a couple of minutes, Then cancel the clean cycle.
