Seth November 06, 2021 for Model Number FGES3065KFA So I took apart my oven control board and found that one of the solder joints on the other side of the 240V relay melted/burned out. Does that mean the relay is bad or would I be able to just resolder that joint? Not sure how to tell if the relay is bad or not.
1 Answer Hello Seth, You could try re-soldering the joint if you have a soldering iron that is properly grounded so it will not damage the integrated circuits on the board. If this does not work you will have to replace the board 316462865. Read More...
Ed April 28, 2020 for Model Number FGES3065KFD Front panel appears to work. Stove top burners work with no problem The broiler element does not heat and model has no bake element. Convention fan appears to work. However, oven never gets to cooking temperature and takes several (3+) hours to heat to work around 325 Is the problem terminal block on back of oven?
1 Answer Ed, Based on the model information provided your range has what is known as a hidden bake element. It sounds like the bake element is out based on your description. the bake element part number is 318254916 If you have trouble finding the element you may call one of our reps at 1-877-477-7278 and they can walk you through it. Martin December 03, 2019 for Model Number FGES3065KWD My girlfriend cleaned the range last night and now the buttons on the control panel do not work. The cooktop works but the oven will not operate as you cannot set the temperature or start for baking, broiling or even setting the clock. It will let you enter numbers but only the numbers 8, 5 and 2. Could this be the motherboard or will the entire control panel need to be replaced? Thanks in advance for your help with this. Martin
1 Answer Hello Martin, the control board is not seeing the keypads that are not responding, its possible the keypad assembly is faulty but before you replace it there is a connector wire harness that links the keypad assembly to the control board and it should be checked for any loose terminals/damage first. Paul August 13, 2018 for Model Number FGES3065kfg The oven heats but the cooktop burners dont heat. Is the controller likely to be the cause?
1 Answer Hello Paul, it could be your relay board part number 316442112 or the surface element control assembly part number 318411400. You can test for voltage coming out from the control assembly on connector P6, pin 4 for L.F, pin 5 for R.F, pin 6 for L.F 2, pin 8 for R.F 2, pin 9 for L.R and pin 10 for R.R. If you have no voltage present replace control assembly, if voltage present replace relay board. Hope this helps! Read More...
