Jim July 16, 2012 for Model Number 790.77483803 How do I get the controller out of the range? I am a home builder so I don't think it will be that difficult. Just looking for an easier way to do it! Thank you, Jim 920-737-70 Six Six
1 Answer Hello Jim, Discontinue the power supply to the unit and pull it out from the wall so you can get back there. Remove the screws from the rear control panel cover. Be sure to be careful of the sharp edges! Wear gloves if you have them. Remove the screws securing the assembly in the control panel and allow it to hang by the wires. Get the new board and hold it next to the old one. Remove the first wire and install it on the new board. Remove the next wire and install it on the new board. Continue in this fashion until all of the wires have been transferred to the new board. Peel off the overlay carefully as you need to reuse it. Reinstall the screws that secure the assembly in the control panel. Reinstall the control panel rear cover and re-establish the power supply. Once the unit has been tested, you're done. Read More...
