Chesty Puller May 29, 2022 for Model Number 790.49413312 Top oven would preheat then not hold temp, then the bottom also did this 6 months later. I replaced the control panel, then the relay board. Still does not hold temp, Could both bottom heat elements be bad? From my understanding once the oven reaches temp only the bottom element functions to hold temp?
1 Answer Chesty Puller, it is possible that the bake elements have failed or the cooling fans are not operating properly (this can cause the thermal limiter to open and stop heating). The cooling fans can be checked by turning the bake cycle on and identifying if there is good air flow from the vent when each oven is activated individually. As the unit will heat and the relay control has been changed out, if the air flow is good then it would be likely that the bake elements 318902502 have failed. Read More...
