I think the baking element needs to be replaced, because the oven stopped heating, but the broil and stovetop elements still work. I have no idea how to access the bake element, it's "hidden" and there's no screws inside the oven so no plate to remove to access it. So I guess my questions are: 1- which baking element model would I need? 2- how to access the hidden element to replace it?

1 Answer Ron, Thanks for the question!!! Your best option to find the failure is to set the oven to bake and test the voltage at the bake element terminals. If you have 240vac then the element would be bad 318255006. Any other readings most likely point to the control board 5304461061. The control is NLA but there are companies on the internet that rebuild control boards, companies such as CoreCentrics. A google search will help locate those companies. Read More...

1 Answer Melva, with the power cord unplugged, the oven sensor 316217002 would need to be tested for resistance and it should measure around 1100O at room temperature. The bake 318255401 and broil 318255605 elements would need to be tested for resistance as well. The bake element should measure 17O and the broil element should measure 21O.
