This oven door hinge supports and guides the door so it opens and closes smoothly and seals properly. Replacing a worn hinge can restore correct door alignment and help prevent heat loss from a door that won't close tightly.

  • Supports the oven door and controls its opening/closing movement
  • Helps maintain proper door alignment and seal for stable temperatures
  • Replace if the door won't stay closed, sags, binds, or slams
  • Symptoms can include heat escaping around the door, uneven baking, or creaking/grinding when moving the door
What's included: One oven door hinge Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker; allow the oven to cool completely
  • Remove the door; use hinge locks/pins if the design provides them
  • Install the hinge in the original orientation and mounting points; re-seat the door and verify latch engagement
  • Check door alignment; replacing both hinges together can help ensure even closing force
