Steve February 06, 2021 for Model Number 79074239310 Converted a Kenmore range from natural to lp. Installed the correct orifice kit and converted the regulator. Flames are still very high and yellow tipped ( as if they had the natural gas orifices in ). I've tried adjusting the flame height on each burner, but to no avail. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have a short video of the burners in action
1 Answer Steve, as the orifice kit GRLP4 was used and the regulator has been set to LP, if the air adjusters in the oven are fully open and the burner heads and caps are in the proper placements, either the gas pressure is too high or the regulator 316091711 has failed. Read More...
