Phil for Model Number frigidaire FEC3X7XESB cooktop

so I just got part # AP3775555 in and installed it seems to work fine except when I try to turn the inner element on the outer one comes on instead. Following the diagram I am unsure were to plug the orange wire in however as long as it is plugged in this problem accures. If its not plugged in the outer element doesnt work at all. The single red wire has to be pluged into L2b or nothing happens. long story short. Does any one have a clear picture or a better wiring schematic by any chance?

Hello Phil. The wires have to be crossed on the unit. You need to double check the wiring on the unit.

Bob for Model Number Frigidaire Range FE806W-1

I have a 20 year old Frigidaire Stove model # FE806W-1. The dual burner infinite switch control needs replacing. It is rated at 240VAC at 15amps. There are some numbers on the old switch such as, 2101931010 and 6670G0010A, Mexico 9305. I was told by a local appliance parts department that the Surface Element Switch Kit #903057-9010 will work for my stove. In your video it appeared as though the possible replacement switch is only rated for 11amps max. Could you tell me if the Surface Element Switch Kit #903057-9010 is a replacement for my current switch? Or is there another Surface Element Switch Kit that will work? Thanking you in advance, Bob D.

1 Answer

Bob, the model given seems to be a Canadian model and we do not have a spec sheet available for your appliance to verify the listed parts. However, doing a search on the 2101931010 number from the switch kit 903057-9010, seems to be a valid replacement. This is a dual surface element switch kit. This switch kit is a 240vac/15A switch. The part and model used in our video may differ than what is on your appliance as the video is only there to give you a brief idea of the installation process. Hope this information helps you. Thanks!

Albert A. for Model Number FRIGIDAIRE COOKTOP FEC3X9XCTD

I got new replacement switch for rf dual burner kit # 903057-9010 and the instructions are greek to me. I tried to hook up 1 wire at time and thought I had it right but it tripped the 40 amp breaker, may of fried the new switch. I have to install another one so I need info. on how to do it. I can't do it with the instructions provided. Is there any way to see what wire goes to what terminal by color or by where the wires go to the element etc? I need to replace this switch but the new one is different than the new one. I dont want to ruin another new switch.

Hi Albert. Tripping breakers mean you have a direct short. It can be possible that unless you see a burnt / blown out part, the switch part # 903057-9010 may still be good. Blk. wire with a jumper feed will feed both P-2's. Orange # 18 gauge wire goes to the pilot and the # 4 switch connection. Red wire #16 gauge jumper is from the # terminal to the inner element connection. This is the same side that hooks to the limiter which the other end of the limiter is a brown # 16 gauge wire going to the #2 connection of the R.F. Sw. The other side of the switch has a red # 16 gauge wire hooks to it from the jumper to L-2 connection of the RT.R. Sw., jumping to the Lt. rear sw.(@L_2) finally dead front at (ending) the P-1 connection on the Lt. front switch. The limiter has a black #18 gauge wire connected to it that is a jumper series to all limiters on the same connection. The limiter has a brown, gray or an orange #18 gauge feeding one side of the hot surface l.e.d. indicator bulb. There is a red # 16 gauge wire that goes to the P1 connection of the switch, opposite of the brown wire on #2 connection going to the limiter. Thank you.

Hello Sandra! If the stem on the dual switch has broken you will need to order the switch itself, as the stem is not available separately. The part number is 903057-9010. In replacing or repairing the unit, I would consider the cost of the repair vs a new appliance. Thanks!

Hello Steve. I'm sorry but I am not able to locate your model number in any of my data bases. I believe this is a Canadian made appliance and I don't have access to that part information. Sorry..
