Barb February 18, 2025 for Model Number KP53OWDK1 Have a 65 year old stainless steel wall oven and cook top. Both are in excellent condition. But have two burners that we feel the infinite switch is bad and sometimes will not switch back from high to med without shutting the burner off. Is there any part we can switch with? Hate to replace cook top and countertop because I can not find one that will fit that hole that is cut out on the stainless steel countertop.
1 Answer Barb, The universal type may work, but there are no guarantees as the manufacturer has discontinued your OEM parts. Read More...
Terry H December 04, 2023 for Model Number Frigidaire 32" Cooktop RB131JL Our nearly 40 yr old cooktop sparked and shorted near the coil. The bakelite socket was cooked and I replaced 2 of them. The one that shorted still doesn't heat and I suspect the infinite switch. Part says discontinued when found on web. Would gladly replace cooktop but they don't make 32" today, so that means new countertops too. 1313767 QE214310 8302231 Please offer a compatible infinite switch. Thank you.
1 Answer Terry H, With the original part being discontinued the manufacturer replacement part is part # 5303935086 Read More...
Amber March 01, 2022 for Model Number Westinghouse KP330R range top I need to replace the large unit element switch on my 47 year old Westinghouse surface range top unit. The model of the unit is KP330R and the switch has the numbers QE 162562 and a large number 8 and R03061. It also says Westinghouse Type B and A.C. only. It has 5 wire connections. They are numbered 1-5 and also have the labels L1, P, H1,H2 and L2. Your search tool gave me the part number 5303935086/AP2591804 as a replacement, but then when I double check by giving the model number, it says this is not the right replacement. Can you confirm that this part is a replacement for the switch I have??
