For Ge Microwave Capacitor (Part Number: OEM6077802)

Danna, You will want to test the door switches to make sure that they are good. This will be the most likely cause of this issue.

David, Yes there is a difference, they are two separate components, and perform different tasks. The WB27X10011 capacitor Increases or "steps up" the voltage to the magnetron. The diode AP2026385 directs the "excess"/stray voltage from the hi voltage components to chassis ground and dissipates the voltage into the electrical system. The diode is also a "one way" direction "switch", it will allow the voltage out of the circuit, but should not allow voltage to flow back into the machine. It's usually best to replace both parts at the same time, but that will be up to you. Thanks,

Dave for Model Number JVM2070SK02

Symptom: touch pad loses responsiveness frequently. All physical pushbuttons work (vent, light...) LED display appears to light up everything correctly, but the touchpad is just unresponsive except for intermittent bursts of a few key touches working. Microwave appears to work ok IF I can ever get through enough keystrokes to cook something. I cleaned all the ribbon connections thoroughly (twice). I replaced the larger of the two circuit boards (WB27X10901) as one of the components on it looked charred, but the new board has the same behavior. Also, the clock, if I can get it set, now immediately starts losing time - falls behind by several minutes right out of the gate. This behavior never happened when the keypad was working. As the components are all very expensive, I would like my next purchase to be the real fix - so please let me know your level of certainly with any ideas. Thanks in advance!

Hello Richard. Use some insulated pliers and touch the terminals on the capacitor and ground out the pliers at the same time.

Hello John, This sounds like a control, (power supply circuit in this board), or poor connection issue. I'm sorry but we do not have parts for this unit available.
