1 Answer Hi Winnie. Remove the lower kick panel. Remove the under counter mount screws. Pull the unit out 6". Remove the door latch strike receiver mount bolts if they are there. Since we have no model # to verify the latch type, see if you now can release the lock enough to open the door. Send us the model # inside the tub door closure area and we will assist with correct part #'s. Thank You. Read More...

Jennifer E. June 08, 2012 for Model Number gsd900g-01 My dishwasher runs then knob stops half way through. If I force it ahead a little it will restart. Then in drying process gets stuck again. How do I repair and what do I repair?
1 Answer Hello Jennifer. It sounds like either the heater, thermal disc, or timer is bad. Test the heater and the thermal disc. They should read closed for continuity. If both are good and the wiring is good, you will need to replace the timer. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
