Chris December 16, 2025 for Model Number Gne27jymffs Water is not dispensing into ice maker. I have replaced the inlet valve and the water filter, the ice maker actuates but no water dispenses. I’m thinking it could be the heater for the water line but I cannot find the proper part listed. Can you help me.
1 Answer Chris, It would be recommended to test the control board for the heater to the ice fill tube heater. There should be 120 vac to it, and if there is not, then this will be a faulty control board. The only way to get the heater is to replace the door. Read More...

John May 09, 2025 for Model Number TPX24PBBGBB I noticed our ice, although working flawlessly since replacing the water valve assembly, has a slight odor to the ice. Its 26 yrs old and considered the age of the unit might be the reason. Thought I would try a new ice maker kit WR30X10093 but our inlet cup was oriented for a rear entry and no solution came with the optional parts included with the replacement. I do not see any other part numbers for this model. Do I actually need to drill out the back of the side entry cup to make it rear entry ?
1 Answer Thank you for your question John. The new fill cup can be removed from the side port and installed into the rear port where the U cut out should face to the rear where the fill tube would come in. If necessary, the original fill cup can be used with the new ice maker. Read More...

Mike August 21, 2024 for Model Number GE TFX25PRYDBB Old ice maker made ice but it all melted together. Tech said old one was dripping water. I installed a WR30X10093CM and the same thing is happening. Cubes are fine for about 6 hours then they seem to melt together. Even froze up my auger motor last night. Fill cup from original would not fit new one (I don't think). Original made 8 cubes, new one makes only 7 cubes. I have not tried to adjust the fill level adjustment. Thanks for any help
1 Answer Mike, Ensure the icemaker is level and then cycle it, watch where the leaking water comes from as it fills. (ie...is it from the fill tube, is the icemaker running over, etc.) Read More...
Rr June 22, 2024 for Model Number TPX21BRXAWW My ice maker for GE Model TPX21BRXAWW is a side mount. What part number do I need. The video shows a rear mount. Is a new water cup provided with this part or can I mount the old water cup to the new part? What about the arm that goes up and down to start and stop the ice? Do I take the old one off and somehow connect to the new one? Or does the off and on button take the place of the up and down arm? Thank you.
1 Answer RR, the ice maker WR30X10093 would be used with the model provided and includes all the parts needed to operate. This specific ice maker uses an arm that sweeps to the side to identify if the ice bin is full. Read More...
