The Grease Filter is an OEM part for GE range hoods. It is designed to trap grease and other particles from the air that circulates through your cooking appliances, preventing buildup within the ventilation system.

Causes of a bad Grease Filter can include saturation from accumulated grease and debris, which can limit its effectiveness and airflow. Over time, the filter can also become damaged or corroded, reducing its ability to capture and hold grease particles.

Symptoms of a bad Grease Filter include:

  • Visible grease buildup on the filter surface.
  • Reduced effectiveness in venting smoke or cooking odors.
  • Increased smoke and odors lingering in the kitchen during and after cooking.

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Hello Andrew, I'm sorry but you will most likely have to contact an antique appliance company or the manufacturer for a part number on a unit this old. Even if the appliances' model number from the units' I.D. tag were included, we would not be able to pull information on a model number this old. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
