Dean January 21, 2014 for Model Number gsd2000j01cc Dishwasher doesn't seem to be draining and leaking profusely from the bottom of the door. Bottom of dishwasher stays full of water with level just at or just above the heating element. Sounds like 2 problems.... door gasket and maybe float switch. Any suggestions would be appreciated in regards to repair.
1 Answer Dean, Your first check needs to be at the drain solenoid assembly WD21X10060 mounted on the motor pump assembly behind the lower kick plate. Mark July 19, 2012 for Model Number GSD4000J00WW Ok, so recently I replaced the whole pump on my dish washer and it runs great when it has water in it but here is the problem: when the dishwasher drains it doesn't stop draining even at the same time the dishwasher is filling with water. so then the dishwasher trys to run dry which will probably kill my pump again. Is this related to the float and if so what parts do I need?
