Is there a 40 or 50 watt replacement bulb for this model? It has two 20 watt in it, but not bright enough.

Hello Ray, The circuit is designed for the 20 Watt bulb WB36X10213. It would not be a wise decision to replace the light with a larger wattage bulb since the circuit is not designed for a higher wattage bulb. A higher wattage bulb could cause a hazard in your home. The halogen bulb that provides light for the cooktop below burned out. The part number for the bulb is WB08x10057. I'm looking for a LED replacement bulb. It would be cooler and consume less wattage. Do you have one?

John, The part number for the light for under the unit will be WB25X10019.

The light bulb under the unit blew. It’s a WB08X10051 120v 40watt. Your site notes it’s been replaced with the WB08X10057 but when I type in my model number it says it’s not compatible so what replacement bulb do I order?

Hello Kathy, WB02X35488 will work for your unit. We must apologize once again for our compatibility tool which is still in work. The only parts that will show compatible are the original part numbers listed on the manufacturers' parts list. The crosses for them will show incompatible at this time. I know that the GE Microwave cooktop light/nite light replacement bulb is a WB08X10057. However, this 120V 50W Halogen makes the cover glass and metal trim so very HOT. Too hot to touch. Is this right?
