The ice cubes that I am getting out of the ice dispenser are shallow and hollow. Will replacing the ice maker fix this issue?

Jack Frost, if you are getting a hollow cube you need to replace the water inlet valve. If there is not enough water going into the ice maker, it can cause hollow cubes. Also, make sure there is good water flow through your water filter if so equipped.
