Gloria April 23, 2014 The Timer Knob (part # Wd9X212) broke off my GE dishwasher model #GSD900G-01. I have a new Timer Knob but it doesn't snap back into place as I was told it would. The timer still works fine and the washer is doing well but I would like to get the Timer Knob back onto the face of the dishwasher. Am I missing some part or do I have to take the inside of the door off to get behind the timer. Any help to know how to put a new Timer Knob back on will be appreciated
1 Answer Gloria, On the timer shaft it has an opening that the timer knob would push into. If the slot is broken then the knob will not go into place and the timer would need to be replaced. Read More...
Frank March 11, 2014 for Model Number GSD640G-01 Hi, When the dishwasher runs the knob stops moving after the rinse position and does not continue to the off position. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Frank. You need to check and see if the heating circuit on the unit is good. If so, and the timer stops and does not advance, you will need to replace the timer on the unit. Read More...

Russell February 06, 2012 for Model Number GSD600D-03 On Part Number: AP2038896, is it possible to purchase the knob only? My timer works fine but the knob fell out and wont stay in. The 2 pieces on the knob that holds it in broke off.
