This dishwasher door latch secures the door closed and engages the safety interlock so wash cycles can start and run without leaks or interruptions. Replace a worn or broken latch to restore a firm, reliable door closure. What it does:

  • Locks the door to compress the tub gasket and help prevent leaks
  • Engages the door switch/interlock so the control can start and continue cycles
  • Replaces latches that are cracked, bent, or have weakened/broken springs
  • Common symptoms: door won't latch/close, cycle won't start, door pops open mid-cycle, water seeping from the top of the door
What's included:
  • 1 door latch
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and shut off water before servicing
  • Open the door and remove inner door panel screws to access the latch
  • Note spring and linkage orientation; transfer any reused hardware from the old latch
  • Align with the door strike and test closure before fully reassembling

Terry, The keypad would have a self sticking adhesive that you would just peel the protective paper off of and stick to the control panel. To remove the keypad you would need to remove the inner door of the unit and take the control panel off the door. Once you remove the control panel you would disconnect the ribbon harness to the control board and just get under the keypad and peel off.
