Rick February 27, 2013 for Model Number GE Gas Range XL44 JGBP26WEA3WW I need the parts that will lock down/secure top cover of the range. The cook top surface that fits around surface burners, in my case the white cover/top. Mine does not seem to lock down or secure in the down position. This will be the front or end nearest the oven door. Please supply part numbers and cost if you can help. Thanks Rick
1 Answer Hello Rick! The rangetop does not fully lock down. There are supports WB6K8 to raise/lower the top. There are also guide holders (WB14K1 right side and WB14K2 left side) and guide slides (WB14K3 right side and WB14K4 left side) that the top slides into to help keep it down in place. 1 Answer There should be a screw at one end and the other end just hooks into a slot. If you enter your model number on our website you can see a parts break down and may be able to determine how it is mounted. Also, some models have one on the other side for reference. Thanks! Read More...
