Mrs. Parray December 15, 2012 for Model Number zIsw42em Does the bottom riser have a plastic part that goes with it? I think I see one on the freezer side. The refrigerator door is a little lower than the freezer door. I was having trouble closing the fresh food door last night so I removed all extra shelves from the door so it can be lighter, but I also see the metal trim thats around the door a little out near the bottom riser on the door panel. So what do you think could be going wrong? Thank you for your help.
1 Answer Hello Mrs. Parray, There is supposed to be an opposing cam that the cam riser meshes against. It is made on the bottom door hinge WR13X5222. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Ed. You will need to raise the top access panel, and remove the hinge cover. Then remove the screws holding the hinge in place and any wires that are going through the door. Next remove the door from the refrigerator. Now you can access and replace the bottom riser WR2X7878. You will remove the screws holding the old riser in place and install the new riser. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
