Nancy October 19, 2019 for Model Number GLDP280ED0WS Used my dryer this morning. Went to use it a second time and the selector switch went completely around without clicking on any setting. Of course when I pushed the start button. What do I need to replace
1 Answer Nancy, make sure the knob is not broken, put another knob on it and see if it makes any difference, other than the knob, you would need to replace the rotary switch that is broken. Read More...
Raymond September 18, 2018 Have a GE gas dryer. DWSR463GG5WW. Sometimes heat sometimes no heat last couple months. Checked vent. Changed coils while back. Appeared to work for a while. Just changed the igniter and limit thermostat. Heats but very low heat. Could it be 4 heat setting knob or maybe cycling thermostat? HELP
1 Answer Raymond, It could very well be the cycling thermostat Also check your exhaust from the dryer to outside. Just a small restriction can cause the dryer to short cycle and not heat properly. Read More...
