Misty April 17, 2016 for Model Number WH12X10300 My washer will fill with water but when it's time for it to agitate it just has a low humming noise. I have to turn the knob to advance the cycle. It never agitated it skips right to emptying the washer and then from that cycle on it does just fine. It just will not agitate on its own or when I try to advance it. Is it the timer?

Felipe August 28, 2013 for Model Number WHDSR315DAWW The washer runs in all cycles except in spin cycle. I removed front cover and the belt is turning when in wash cycle. Is this a timer issue?
1 Answer Hello Felipe. Make sure the lid switch is good and the unit is pumping all the water out of the unit. Also, the pressure hose or air dome being clogged can cause this issue. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

1 Answer Hello Frank. If there is power to the timer motor, and the timer does not advance, but if you turn manually it works, you will need to replace the timer WH12X10300 on the unit. Read More...
Curt July 04, 2013 for Model Number WHDSR315DAWW Washer timer seems to be working fine, goes through all the cycles fine. whats happening is you cannot set the timer on a cycle without pressing on face of dial. can just the dials be replaced or does the whole timer need to be replaced? Thanks for your input
1 Answer Curt, This issue would most likely be caused by the timer knob WH01X10310 and not the timer itself. Read More...
