Patrick January 02, 2019 for Model Number DLE1501w LG Dryer is only 3 yrs old. Power and circuit break ALL great. New circuit breaker; new cord. All electrical parts checked for continuity. Power turns on. SOMETIMES works but mostly NOT. Heats very well when it works. Turn on power, set cycle, press start. NOTHING. It shuts itself off. The thermistor and all other parts check out that the dryer SHOULD be working. Any ideas?
1 Answer Patrick, Based on the information it sounds like the main control board on the unit is faulty and would need replaced. Read More...
Patrick January 02, 2019 for Model Number DBVH512EF0WW Dryer stopped working. Power source is great. Changed breaker (new breaker box installed, too, but not because of this.) Plug is great. Thermal fuse fine and everything checked out with continuity where it should. All electrical parts checked. When the power is turned on and the door is shut and start/pause pressed it just goes "click click click click click." Diagnose?
1 Answer Patrick, check the voltage at the terminal block, you should read 120 volts from white to black, 120 volts from white to red, 240 volts from black to red. If your voltages are good, you may have a relay on the control board that is trying to close, that would explain the clicking noise. Read More...

Mike G January 12, 2013 for Model Number ap4339473 Can I please get step by step instructions on how to replace part.
1 Answer Hello Mike, There should be 2 -4 screws on the back of the top panel that you would remove to take top panel off. Once off you will remove screws holding control panel in place. This will allow you to access the control board. Read More...
