The Water Dispenser Button is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. This part allows users to easily dispense water with a simple press. It's directly connected to the electronic control system of the refrigerator, ensuring that when pressed, it signals the refrigerator to activate the water dispenser.

Causes of damage to the Water Dispenser Button often involve repeated use, which can wear down the mechanical components, or impact damage from objects hitting the button.

Symptoms of a bad Water Dispenser Button include:

  • The button sticking or failing to spring back after being pressed.
  • No water being dispensed when the button is pressed, indicating a possible fault in the signal transmission to the control system.
  • The button feeling loose or falling off, suggesting that the mounting or connecting components may be damaged.

This OEM LG part is also compatible with some Kenmore models.
