Jowee May 07, 2020 for Model Number LFX31925ST Serial # 112KRKS0V517 It was purchased 6/2012. It appears I have a compressor that has died. After researching on the internet it looks like the control board will need to be updated after the compressor is replaced. My question is, are all the control boards on this model able to accept this software update? I read earlier models the control board would have to be replaced to accept the update.

Howie April 20, 2020 for Model Number TCA38091801 During installation of this LG replacement compressor it was placed on its side and a great deal of compressor oil leaked out. I'm not sure of the reservoir capacity or actual type (PAG100?) oil to replace. I'm guessing ~ 2 oz leaked out. My 1st compressor replacement (LL - do not install compressor with refrigerator on its side).
