Sarah January 21, 2021 for Model Number 41781122310 I need to replace the catch for the door latch on my Sears dryer. There are no screw holes that would allow me to affix a part to the washer body. What replacement part would work? Thanks.

Bill June 20, 2014 for Model Number dle5955g I have a LG dle5955g dryer that is stacked on top of it's corresponding washer. I noticed that the dryer door was rattling badly when the washer was spinning. I saw that the dryer door was loose. I can lift it up and down a bit and when closed I can push it in further, like maybe 3/8 inch or so. I don't see a problem of any kind with the hinge other than the metal is thin and allows movement. I'm guessing I could try to replace the latch male and female ends. What do you think? I should add, I don't see a problem with them, but don't know what else I could do.
1 Answer Bill, The most likely cause for the issue will end up being the latch assembly not grabbing the strike properly and causing the vibration. Read More...
