For Lg Dryer Main Control Board (Part Number: OEM17932698)

Hello Jerry, thank you for contacting AppliancePartsPros.com
The first thing to look at is whether the compressor and condenser fan are running. If they are then you would check the evaporator frost pattern. If there is no frost forming on the evaporator with the compressor and condenser running then you likely have a sealed system issue which will need to be addressed by a licensed and certified appliance sealed system repair company.

This issue has been going on, off and on, now for almost 2 years. Occasionally, the dryer will after powering on the display panel will have the lights on, however, I can't make a selection for drying method. Turning the selector knob does nothing, all lights remain on the same. I've cleaned the grill assembly and inside the filter area thuroughly but seemed to only help sometimes. Also, just removing power (disconnecting power cord) for 5 to 10 minutes also, seems to resolve the issue for several days or even a month or two. last time I worked on it and cleaned the exhaust flew and hose attachments it ran for about 5 months, now back to same issue. I just finished cleaning grill and moisture sensor bars again and checked and cleaned the exhaust flus and attachements, let dryer sit for an hour or so powered off and it won't start to dry, just panel lights are on and can't make a selection with the selector knob. Any, ideas? Control panel, or maybe moisture bars?
