Bill Smith October 29, 2020 for Model Number Kenmore Elite Model 795.71039.010 My refr4igerator and freezer are not cooling. There is a clicking noise coming from the upper PCB board.
1 Answer Bill, For this issue, the most likely cause of the clicking noise will be a faulty main control board EBR65002706. Read More...
Bill June 16, 2020 for Model Number 795.71053.010 Hello, I have a malfunction with both the frig and freezer not cooling frig temp 56 and freezer 48 degrees. Compressor seems to be running continuously, all three fans are running and there is zero frost buildup on the evaporator. I have replaced the thermistor and temp sensor also the mainboard, not the PCB. The compressor is running at 100 degrees and the coil is at 74 degrees. Not sure if the other board should be replaced or maybe the control panel. I don't think the freon is low because there is no ice buildup anywhere.
1 Answer Bill, it would be recommended that the condenser coils are inspected for dust build up as dust can cause this symptom. If the condenser coils are clean, then there is a sealed system failure based on the information provided. Read More...
Suzie September 05, 2018 for Model Number lmxs30796D The instaview door light keeps coming on with any slight sound in the house. Wondering if it's a sensor or a faulty board.
1 Answer Suzie, There is a knock on sensor that would be the most likely cause for this issue. The part number for this would be ACQ88646104 and should be located at the bottom of the door. Read More...
Ajf August 16, 2018 for Model Number 79571033010 First noticed food thawing in freezer section, and checked temp with a thermometer. Compressor runs temp was reading 40 in freezer and 45 in upper . Did not feel air flow to upper compartment . Fans. Don’t seem to be running. No ice or frosting on evaporator . Almost seems like stuck in auto defrost . What could be the cause ?
1 Answer AJF, if your compressor is running you should have a frost pattern on the evaporator. It sounds like you have a sealed system issue, it is either low on freon or the compressor is failing. Read More...
Willis August 25, 2017 for Model Number 79571072010 Top circuit board is making a clicking noise. The fan for the condenser runs but the condenser doesn't kick on.

J September 25, 2016 for Model Number 795.71059.010 kenmore elite refrigerator Refrigerator not cooling, no errors. Compressor was not running, condenser, evaporator fans running. Changed compressor start cap, now compressor runs not cooling. Checked voltage out of compressor driver (PWB assembly) 100 vac most of the time, briefly goes to 200 vac sometimes and 430 vac sometimes. Is it bad E-Inverter FC75LANE?
1 Answer J, If the compressor is running but the unit is not cooling at all then this would be a sealed system issue in which you will need to have a service technician to repair. Read More...

David September 10, 2014 for Model Number Kenmore # 795.71053.010 The compressor does not run, has no power to it. No burnt signs or bad fuses either board. Which one is most likely bad, or is there some way to test boards ? Thanks
1 Answer David, Unfortunately we do not have a wiring diagram for the unit to be able to give voltage information for the unit. You will want to test the PCB sub assembly for proper power. With the compressor not getting power then it is most likely that the PCB Sub Assy EBR64173902 would be the issue with the unit. Read More...
Corry M. October 22, 2011 for Model Number LFX28978SB100 There are two circuit boards on the back of my fridge. The top board is bad (I know this because the fridge stopped working and I opened the back panel to find this board sparking). With the help of your call center I think this is the Sub Board but don't want to order unless I'm certain. Is this correct? It is the board which is smaller in size compared to the bottom board.
1 Answer Hello Corry! Judging from the diagram the top board itself should be the main board EBR65002703. Unfortunately, we do not have any pictures available of each of the boards to help verify which part is actually smaller. If a board is purchased and it is incorrect we have a no hassle return policy, you can return the part at anytime. Here is our return policy link for you to view, thanks! http://www.appliancepartspros.com/customerservice/returns.aspx Read More...
