Peter M February 06, 2022 for Model Number DLG5988W My LG dryer recently started making a pretty loud rumbling noise when it runs, and maybe squeaking when it starts up. Looking at the information here, the most likely cause is a worn or damaged drum support roller. How many of these are present in my DLG5988W? Is it likely that only one of them needs to be replaced? I see that you have less than 100 of them in stock. (The dryer dates from 2007 or 2008). I have a matching LG washer that I've fixed a couple of times with your help (including an epic replacement of the spider assembly a couple of years ago) but I've never had to touch the dryer. Do the rollers have to be replaced from the back or from the front? Thank you.
