Larry, with the power cord unplugged, there will be one plug at each side of the user interface that would need to be removed along with two screws at the back of the top panel. This will allow the top panel to be lifted up. The door lock switch assembly will be located at the right-hand side of the top panel when looking at it from underneath.

Levi, with the washer turned off, the lid switch would need to be tested for continuity at connection WH from the wire at pin 4 to the wire at pin 5. If there is continuity when the lid is closed, the next step would be to place the meter probes to test from pin 1 to pin 3 when a cycle is started. If there is 16.5VDC, the lid should lock. If it does not lock, the switch assembly has failed.

Madeline, With having the DL code and the door lock having been replaced then this would be the main control board that is faulty and need to be replaced.

Nancy for Model Number WT1501CW

Machine is powering up intermittently and will run fine when it powers up. Power source is good, no error codes or anything indicating an issue. It will chime (like it does when you turn it on regularly) at a low volume and will not do anything further. I've tried unplugging it, doing the reset hitting the power/start buttons 5 times each, etc. I'm thinking it's the control panel from what I'm reading? The machine just turned 1 year old on Monday.

Nancy, the main control EBR80321808 could certainly cause this issue and is the most likely. Another part that may cause this issue is going to be the display control. The way to tell would be to test for voltage passing between the two boards. If there is not any voltage passing between the two boards, then the issue would be with the main control.

Marv, You will want to check to see if there is 120 vac getting to the hot water valve. If there is but no hot water comes in then this will be an issue of a faulty water valve. If there is no power then this will be a faulty main control board.

Steve, The CL is a child lock issue. You use this option to disable the controls. This feature prevents children from changing cycles or operating the machine. Once the Child Lock is set, it must be deactivated before any controls, except power button can be used. Once the washer has shut off, the power button will allow the machine to be turned On, but the controls will be locked. When the controls are locked CL will display alternately with the estimated time remaining. Press and hold the Soil button for three seconds to activate or deactive the child lock.
