Sam, With having replaced the relay on the unit and it will not start then the issue will be with the compressor having a locked rotor.

David, Unfortunately we do not have any information on igloo products to be able to assist properly with your question but it sounds like the overload/relay would need to be replaced.

Hello MH. 312200500017 is the part number for the PTC starter. It should read closed for continuity. Test for power to the starter. If none is for, then the control is bad. If there is power, replace the starter.

Hello Manuel, If you replaced the PTC and the compressor is humming like it wants to come on, then yes it would be a failed compressor.

Martin for Model Number MCBR360S

Motor does not come on. If I plug the unit in and wait I'll hear a small click on the motor protector switch/relay PN 265RFBYY. I removed the little device and it was extremely hot. Once it cooled the relay "unclicked" seemingly indicating that it is in fact doing its job. The other relay PNP6R8MC that sits next to the 265R stays the same temp. No humming or evidence that frig is running. What could be causing the relay to kick in to protect the motor?? Thanks
