Yousef August 16, 2023 for Model Number CAE2765FQ0 I have replaced the actuator twice because the arm keeps breaking. The washer will not spin or agitate. It did for a couple of loads. The washer makes no unusual noises. Any assistance would be appreciated.
1 Answer Yousef, Check for the splutch on the unit to be binding as this will be the most common cause for the arm on the actuator to break. Read More...
Sherlock August 16, 2023 for Model Number MAT20CSAWW0 My Whirlpool commercial washer spins and drains, but does not agitate in wash mode. Is it likely that I will need shift actuator? When calibration test done the machine did agitate in test mode but when in actual wash mode it does not agitate. If I replace this part, will it resolve the issue?
1 Answer Sherlock, based on the information provided, the shift actuator would not be a cause of failure since the unit will agitate in diagnostic mode. The main control W11188527 would be the most likely cause of failure. Read More...

Marco July 29, 2022 for Model Number CAE2745FQ0 I have a washer I've been working on but it does not enter the spin cycle. The washer drains the water but does not spin. I have already replaced the control board and drain pump but it didn't seem to fix the problem. Any recommendations on what the problem could be?
1 Answer Hello Marco, You should pull the tech sheet and use the troubleshooting section to determine the cause of the failure. It suggests the lid switch, the drive belt, harness issues, and a shifter issue just to mention a few of the issues covered. It also tells how to perform tests to determine if the component in question is good or bad. The tech sheet is normally located inside the front panel in a plastic ziplock baggie. Read More...
