The Baffle is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool washers. It is a crucial component that helps to direct and control the flow of water during the wash cycle, ensuring efficient and even distribution of water throughout the tub.

A faulty or damaged baffle can lead to issues with water circulation and proper cleaning performance. Causes of a bad baffle can include wear and tear over time, clogging or buildup of debris, or physical damage due to impact or mishandling.

Symptoms that may indicate a need to replace the baffle include:

  • Poor water circulation or uneven distribution of water during the wash cycle
  • Inefficient cleaning or areas of the clothing remaining dry or unwashed
  • Excessive noise or vibrations during operation
  • Water leaks or flooding due to improper water flow

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
