John Q August 27, 2016 for Model Number ED5FHEXNS00 I just replaced the condenser fan. I noticed that the blades are turning so as to draw air in from the condenser area rather than blowing air out. Is this correct. The wiring harness only snaps together one way. Thanks
1 Answer John, Yes this would be correct as the fan pulls air across the condenser and the compressor and does not blow on them. Read More...
Bill June 05, 2016 for Model Number MSF22C2EXW00 My condenser fan came off and I don't know which way to put it back on the shaft. It looks like the flat side of the fan hub is toward the motor. Is that correct?
1 Answer Bill, Yes, on the fan blade the flat side will face the motor on the unit with the blade kind of curving toward the motor. Read More...

Clem December 28, 2013 for Model Number Whirlpool ed5fhexnl My fan motor seems to have a loose bearing or something in the shaft to the fan blades. From time to time it will make a loud noise while running. I'll clean it and spray some lubricant on the shaft and that works for a while but then it comes back. Everything runs fine but when it starts going off balance it sounds like my refrigerator is about to launch through the roof. In the video the fan mounts directly to the motor but mine has a long skinny shaft running to the blades. What should I be replacing?
1 Answer Clem, You will want to replace the condenser fan motor for this issue. The fan motor is what is causing the unit to make the noise that you are referring to. The condenser fan motor part number for your unit is W10124096. Read More...
