Hello Jeremy, Whirlpools top of the line name brand is Kitchen Aid so the parts are made by Whirlpool. The multi-purpose blade WP8212014 is compatible with the model provided and the compatibility tool does not recognize this because the part number was changed by Whirlpool when they added "WP" to the beginning of all of their replacement parts. John, As best we can tell the WP8212014 / 8212014 Multi Purpose Blade, has not been redesigned or substituted for your food processor. The replacement part should fit properly just as the present blade fits. Make sure the mixing bowl is properly installed and locked in place, then seat and lock the blade in place on the power shaft. There should be a 1/8 to 3/16 inch gap between the bottom blade and the bottom of the mixing bowl.
