Paula September 15, 2020 for Model Number ART6110W Pre heat light takes forever, if at all, to go out. Oven is heating way below what it is set at. Burner element? Terminal Block, thermostat? Which sounds more likely? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Paula, using a multimeter check that there is 240cv at the stove's terminal block Black L1 to Red L2,check that there are no wiring problems at the terminal block, if ok disconnect power and check the bake/broil elements terminals where the wires connect, should be a secure /clean fit. If it doesn't can I order them through you? On my old terminal, couple are fused together and need to be replaced. Do you think the Power cord should be replaced? There is no real sign of wear. and where it hooks up to the terminal block the connectors look good. Thanks, Troy

Robert Lane December 30, 2011 for Model Number RF3661XDW O Oven heating element gets very, very hot and will not turn off. We had to disconnect the range and then disconnect the heating element so we can use the range. Is this caused by the Terminal block?
1 Answer Robert, It could be, but it's not likely, You may have a shorted element or element wire, or a "stuck" relay on the ERC/Control 8190664 . You'll need to turn power off or unplug the power cord, slide the range out, remove both back panels and check for shorted, burnt, damaged wires and connections. If all's OK, you'll need to replace the ERC/Control. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Teresa August 30, 2011 for Model Number RF366PXYN I need a terminal block and ground strap. Does this terminal block come with a ground strap? If not do you have the ground strap separately?
1 Answer Teresa, You have the proper part number for the terminal block WP8203546 and the ground strap part number is 3169573 , but it is no longer available. You could use a short piece of green colored 8 or 10 guage wire and attach it to the middle terminal or the block and the ground screw inside the junction box. You may want to contact the APP customer service line and place your order through the office, so they can verify the availability of the ground strap part. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
